Chef de Mission meeting in Iceland

Yesterday, delegates from the countries participating in the Games of the Small States of Europe 1-6 June 2015 arrived to Iceland. Nine countries will participate, Andorra, Cyprus, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, San Marino, and Iceland. Yesterday evening the group was offered to visit the hotels participants will be staying at this summer.

This morning, the 27th of March, there was a Technical Commission meeting. Also, tour leaders from each country visited the venues that will be used at the Games. Representatives of relative NF´s and the relative venues guided the group around the venue sites and offered information about the structure of the venue. The main area for the games is Laugardalur, with all its sports halls, and hotels within walking distance.

This afternoon a Chef de Mission meeting will take place, where many issues related to the Games will be reviewed.
