One week to go

Today one week remains until the Opening Ceremony of the GSSE 2015. The Games will take place from 1 - 6 June in the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik.

Many things need to be considered the last week before the Games. A part of the GSSE 2015 signs will be set up in the Sports Halls tomorrow and on 29th May all the signs will be set up and flags put up outside the venues. Áberandi, the company handling the signs, will need the help of 15 GSSE´s volunteers to install everything, along with the Design Team of the GSSE 2015.

GSSE 2015 will be advertised in the city stands allover Reykjavik City from tomorrow morning and throughout the Games. Blossi sign will be at Kringlan, the biggest mall in Reykjavik for two weeks. The store ZO-ON, one of the Golden partners of the Games, will be introducing golf this week.

Various issues relating to the award ceremony, education and promotion for school children in Reykjavik, participants list, facilities for Icelandic participants, volunteer projects are being finalized these last days.
