Glacier moved from Jökulsárlón to Laugardalshöll

It was an impressing sight when the glacier from Jökulsárlón was put in its place beside a lava rock from Reykjanes. These elements are a part of the Natural Power concept of the GSSE 2015 and carry the Games´ flame. The art is located next to Laugardalshöll. Ragnheiður Runólfsdóttir, a swimmer and multible winner at GSSE, turned a key that lightened the fire on the lava rock during the Opening Ceremony. The fire will be present throughout the Games, with a security guard guarding it around the clock.
