Iceland learned from those mistakes and won the third set 25-22. Iceland got ahead in the fourth set as well. At 16-20 Hafdís Eiríksdóttir pulled off a great series that San Marino‘s defence couldn‘t handle and suddenly Iceland was 24-16 ahead. San Marino got one back but it didn‘t matter, Iceland won the set 17-25.
Jóna Guðlaug Vigfúsdóttir scored 23 points for Iceland but Samanta Giardi 17 for San Marino.
Iceland and Montenegro have tied up for a crucial match at 18:00 GMT tomorrow. Both teams have won their first two games.
