Andorra and Liechtenstein top of the groups

Andorra and Liechtenstein finished at the top of their groups as the qualifying rounds came to end in Beach Volleyball. Monaco and Iceland are set to battle for the Gold Medal in the Women‘s Competition.Liechtenstein won Luxembourg 2-0 (21-11, 21-14) in the Group A match today to top the group. Monaco finished third.
Andorra won Group B after winning Cyprus 2-0 (21-14, 21-18) in the battle for the top spot. San Marino finished third after winning Iceland 2-0 (21-10, 21-15).
Liechtenstein will play against Cyprus in the semi-finals tomorrow and Andorra will play against Luxembourg. San Marino and Monaco will first play for the fifth spot.
Iceland and Monaco top the women‘s competition with full house, six points and will face each other in the final match on Saturday.
Iceland beat Malta 2-0 (21-10, 21-10) and Monaco beat Cyprus 2-0 (21-11, 21-14) today. Liechtenstein is a point behind in the third place after winning Luxembourg 2-0 (21-10, 21-15).
