Two more gold medals for Luxembourg

Luxembourg celebrated two gold medals at the team event in judo. Eleven teams were registered for the competition, six male teams and five female teams.Luxembourg fought Monaco for the gold medal in the male competition and won 2-1. Iceland won Malta by the same score in the fight for the bronze.
Despite only having three players Iceland fought their way to the finals but were outnumbered by a strong Luxembourg team 3-0.
A joint team from Montenegro and Andorra picked up the bronze medal.
