The sixth GSSE took place in Luxembourg 1995. 

As was expected, Luxembourg tried to dominate the competition as host of the event, but once more Iceland did best, especially in judo and swimming events, and even won six gold medals in athletics. Iceland was back at the top of the table with 33 gold medals, leaving Cyprus and Luxembourg a distant second and third.
